vtec not workin

Default vtec not workin

i swapped a b20 vtec head on my b16. friend told me my vtec fluid was low, but i dunno where to check it. My vtech light used to work , but when i hit 6k nothin happens! i'm not sure but someone said that oem vtech oil is the best but when i went to the dealership they had no clue wht I was taling about...

Did you align your vtak hamsters? maybe one's running clockwise and the other counter?

what they are trying to say is that there is no such thing as vtec fluid. vtec is only dependent on one fluid which is your engine oil

I don't know man, it sounds to me like you need to do more research on engines before you start swapping engine parts. also, engine oil runs through the vtec solenoid which activates the "vtec"
and sorry to assume, but if you don't know what a vtec solenoid is, you should swap everything back to how you had it before you touched it.
