from my std dpfi to mpfi, do i have to have the si throttle cable, manifold support bracket, and fuel lines from fuel filter to fuel rail? ive seen both yes and no, but would like to know for sure from someone whose done it before i start tommorow, thanks!

 

I have my old DX throttle cable, it's longer, but that's about it.

I had a weird fuel rail at first which gave me problems, but when I got the right one I ended up using the stock line.

I also took off the support bracket for weight savings.

 

will i have to do anything special to make the dx cable work? or will alot of excess just hang off when its tightened?

 

Mine worked fine stock, just has a lot of room for the middle part to flop around.
