Koni/GC for $500 or D2 Coilover for $600?

For a daily driver, neither. Konis, a nice set of lowering springs, and a good rear swaybar.
Then again, I'm running Konis and GCs on my daily/autocross/HPDE Integra GSR, but my rear springs aren't exactly passenger friendly, and I'm very biased towards Konis (love them).

I can get some H&R Race springs for an extra $100 from another guy. I also have Tein S-Techs sitting in my garage. What to choose?
Well, there is a user on here that is selling them off of his integra. They are used for about 5000 miles though. Now i will be putting there on an EG SEDAN. whereas the spring rate is for an integra. Will there be any problems with fitment? Ride quality? I heard GC makes a different sleeve for Koni shocks.

Fitment problems = no
Ride quality = no (IMO)
The sleeve you mention = adapter to make sure they fit well & no issues
As far as spring rates, if they are off the shelf spring rates for an integra, you should have zero worries. Check to see if the Integra owner ordered higher or lower custom spring rates when they chose their kit, though.
I have had a few sets of coilovers, shocks, & springs, but to answer your question on a decision on Koni/GC or D2 w/out discussing the others, I shall give you info on setups I have on my cars right now.
My red Eg = Koni/GC 450 lb Front & 500 lb Rear
My grey Eg = D2 w/ 5k up front & 6k in the rear
@ each of the cars lowest settings, the Koni/GC rode smoother. Now, I thought this was a mistake. I tried to do different things & check the collars to make sure of the preload on both & also double check all the suspension on both cars. After a good check, I tried to mess w/ the shock settings again @ all levels. All this has taken place over a period of 3-4 months & I am pretty shocked that that my Koni/GC have outperformed the D2(street driven) I thought the Koni/GC would be too harsh for the street.
I went w/ the D2 off a suggestion from my friend since I wanted something nice for daily driving in the grey car. After a total of 7 months w/ this suspension on my car, I'm ready to sell it & try something else. (Try something other than Koni/GC because I like them, but want to have a comparison to them, so far they still are the best)
The D2 aren't that good for any kind of bump & the recovery is horrible & bouncy regardless of shock setting. I would be afraid on the track if I hit a bump, the car would not stop bouncing. Even my girlfriend noticed how much smoother the koni/gc setup is over my D2 setup. That says a LOT! I dread every bump in the road for that initial shock the D2 give.
These are my experiences, take them how you will & good luck on any decision you make.
