Default rotors thickness

I know this is a stupid question, but will two different thickness rotors (front and back) cause a problem? the front rotors are thicker than the back. they are two different sets of rotors. This will be my first brake job by myself. Im thinking that the front will engage before the back ever touches right?

The front rotors are ventilated and are thicker than the rear

The front rotors are intended to be different and thicker than the rears. The front brakes do the majority of braking, and require more brake torque and heat capacity. Assuming you have an EH6 del Sol Si, your front rotors should be ~9.5" diameter and ventilated. Rears are ~9.5" and solid.

cool that seems to be the case thankyou. and sorry for such a basic question. took me all afternoon to put rotors on paint calipers and put pads on front wheels. LOL! newb. the rotors had 2 brass screws that look like you need an impact wrench with a phillips head to remove otherwise you strip the heads(which I did) so I had to do a tap on both front rotors and most likely will do the same on the back. thats what really slowed me down because I didnt have the right tools to tap those screws. but the new rotors and freshly painted red calipers look great now. too bad Im having engine problems now.
