Throws code when i should be in vtec and then when i restart my car its gone. When i removed vtec solenoid no oil came running out? is this right? is my oil pick up clogged? any help is appreciated this is driving me crazy! next step looks like im taking of the oil pan.

No im not trying to go past 7 feel like i got a rev limit at about 6500/6800 my stock redline is 7200 is this because vtec is not being engaged?
stock redline is 7200 but the motor stops making power at 6800.
are any mods done to the engine??? you might have a clog somewhere causein the low oil pressure

aite thanks for the help. I guess ill be taking off the oil pan. How do i know if the pick up is clogged? any suggestions on way to unclogg it. First time taking the pan off. and do i need new gasket or can i use liquid gasket?
if oil pickiup in pan was clogged you probly would still be walking back home, or waiting for a tow truck. Trace the oil feed and return lines from solenoid to where they connect/disconnect, and clean them out, if theat don't work, go further down the lines, etc etc.
(clean out with compressed air or something, no water or cleaners, unless maybe its oil additives or oil)
