i noticed that after i dropped the engine back in my car that i was getting a leak from this grommet\heater hose. i also noticed that according to this pic from slhondaparts.com, the two heater hoses are switched. would this cause the leak? could it hurt the heater core or cooling system? can somebody check there car to see how its rigged? (just to make sure slhondaparts schematic isnt wrong).

 

The schematic is correct according to my setup. That schematic is also the same as the Helms so it is prolly correct. However I do not know if it is going to hurt anything.

 

since its leaking...why not just replace the hoses and have them installed correctly. If you don't have them in correctly i would assume you'd have no heat.

 

actually, i do have heat. i'm gonna try not to replace them b/c they are expensive (30 bucks for that grommet and one hose)

 

i'd buy some generic hose from an autoparts store but they might kink from having them bend to theire places. i guess i'll just fork out some cash for 'em

 

hmmm..any of you guys look in your helms? the diagram at slhondaparts.com looks to be backwards according to the helms. anybody concur?
