So after calling a few auto parts place to get an upper ball joint for my hatch, I keep getting told no one sells just the ball joint, and that I must buy the whole control arm ($85+). If this is the case why does SPC sell a replacement upper balljoint/camber kit? There's a set on Ebay CHEAPPPPPP, and I'd rather pick them up, and gain the adjustablility, than pay for a new UCA. If I knew how to install them, I'd feel alot better about purchasing them, but all anyone I ask can tell me is buy a new control arm.

Anyone help me out here?

 

u need to press the ball joint out. i would take the whole ball joint and arm and have a shop press it out.

 

I have a press, so that won't be a problem. If it's just a press-out-press-in deal, I'll just order the SPC kit. Thanks!
