Default map sensor problem

I have a question. I dont know why but my car is throwing out code 3. its map sensor i know that. but for some reason i wired everything correctly and still throws it out. i was wondering does the obd2a harness have to do with the obd2b. also, its and b16a2 motor and the connecter doesnt fit right. so those that mean i have to switch the sensor to obd2a to make it work. how you guys understood what i meant. inputs work be greats. thanks. will that make my gas mileage goes down.

What do you mean it doesn't fit right? If the pins aren't making a good connection, its not going to read right, and throw a code. Your probably running insanely rich. Make sure its the right connector, your wires are perfect and if you can eliminate ALL that positivly, new map sensors are like 30$ on ebay.
