well its not an h-series. it uses different rod bolts for one.

h22 should either be a p13 or p13z on the beam, an h23/f22 is a pT3

maybe a 3rd gen lude?

Hows aboot some dimensions on that rod? What length? What is the big end diameter? What's the BE width? More pictues? Where'd you get it? The piston skirt is also not an H-series design. My guess is F23 rod. Looks a lot like this one other than the markings.

ah you guys are boring

F20B DOHC Accord SIR 1998

here is ur answer

This rod looks of course lighter and smaller than it's h22a counterpart,
but the bolt section is completly different...

i was wondering if i should keep this rod for NA racing application
i have yet to weight it down though ..

what are your thoughts?

Like ownesting, what was the point in this thread? Your bragging about having f20b pistons/rods. So you can't use the pistons in an h22 and you have rods that are used and you going to have to get bearings matched up to your crank (considering your crank is old) you can't use the colour coded bearings anymore. The rods are weak and maybe a few grams less if lucky, so im still confused what the point in the thread was......

hey little

Well the engine i will be using is the complete F20B DOHC since
we need to work on a 2.0 liter engine ( rules )

So i will be using the f20b 88mm crank + it's rods i believe ...
I didn't yet measure anything precisly
but this rod doens't seem to be out of round at all using a bore gauge

Our only problem now is that 1 of the cylinder has a 1" deep groove
( probably carbon or dirt )
and we only have 0.25% play in rules for CC
wich would bring us to 84.5mm bore MAX

but finding pistons for the F20B doesn't seem really easy!
we might have to go for custom pistons ...

The point of this thread was just playing to see if you prelude guys knew ur stuff
( but it's not really prelude stuff.. )

And then ask for your recommendations

I stilll have to take the rest of the engine apart,
to detemine the wear on the stock parts and determine what is possible
but unfortunatly this will have to wait for a month now

We will be using this engine in a BB6 chassis
