i need one for the autox in a week. i tried some motorcycle shops and they dont carry them.

 

a m90 rated helmet will be pretty hard to find. Why not buy a m95 or m2k? try http://www.helmetharbor.com, http://www.kneedraggers.com, or http://www.helmetshop.com.

yes they do. but i rather not wear a helmet who knows who else has been wearing. im planning on auto-x more then once so its a small investment.

 

You're better off getting an SA rated helmet than M. M is for motorcycles, SA is for car racing (Special Applications).

Get a Snell 2000. Few if any events will still accept Snell 90. Even Snell 95 is going to be unacceptable in a few more years.

Go to a store and try one on, and buy it there. Many helmet sizes that ought to fit turn out to be uncomfortable. Don't buy by mail or you're likely to be getting one that's uncomfortable.
