camber kit gives bad caster?

Default camber kit gives bad caster?

can a camber kit give u bad caster? i have an ingnalls type camber kit for the front..i heard that u can adjust the caster with them...how so?

I doubt that would be a problem as caster is the angle of the spindle from front to rear. A camber kit would have to put the bottom LCA in a bind to effect the caster any.

Some camber kits also have an adjustment for caster. Its a sliding plate the upper ball joint is on that not only moves in and out(camber), but also forward and backward(caster).

No caster adjustment, you have to do cutting and welding to adjust that, trust me.

is that the ball joint style kit? where you use stock upper a arm and put a new ball joint in? if it is it will mess with caster, rotate the joint to where you have more negative caster (the ball joint is just off center of the big nut on top)to where the top of the knuckle is towards the back of the car. this is better than positive caster it will help with turn-in. but i dont trust these kits.

no it wont. the only one is front bottom lcas. my homie has the old skool suspension techniques and his caster is off

yeah thats what i have! i get my car aligned at the honda dealership and i dont think they know how to adjust it. one side of my car has bad caster

Bad caster is almost always a sign of some sort of damage to the suspension system.

yeah i know,i changed my lower control arm and the caster was fine then it was all wacked out again after a while......i noticed my wheel didnt have as bad of caster...

if your suspension is stock, if it is adjustible then it needs adjusting.

i just found out too that honda cant align the rear of my car so they have been charging me 70 bucks for a front end alignment, worst part about it is i was employed there.
