ok so i was wondering what kind of times some other lsvtecs were running. really wanting some w/ similiar build. my set up: b18a block bored .020 over, 12.0:1 cr, block guard if it matters, stock b16a head except a very slight port job the guy that reworked my head did( he pretty much just smoothed out the casting marks). gsr tranny w/ act 2 xtreme pp and stage 1 street disc. dc sports 4:1 header(1 piece), and cheap cai that probabaly makes no power. running chipped p28 that i had w/ my d16a6 which ran 10.2's consistantly. my best time w/ my lsvtec is 2 9.5's@76mpg on street tires. been kind of hesitant to run on drag radials or slicks since this has been my only car ran on dr 1 time w/ this setup and broke both shift forks. but finally got a 2nd cor so now planning on so 20" slicks after i tune my car. oh my car is untuned

 

i have a lsvtec stock bore 11:1 compresion made 189whp and my times are
9.0 @ 78mph on street tires
8.6 @ 80 mph on 22x8x13 m&H slicks

and this is in my daily driven 98 hatch

 

13.17 @ 104.9mph on 22" M&H slicks

14.25 @ 100mph on 215/45/16 street tires, leaving the line at idle.

2600 lbs. with driver.

b/c i figured it would be faster than a 9.5 on street tires. there was a guy down here w/ a 93 eg hatch pretty much same setup?? type r pistons b16 cams he had a vafc-2 but he said he didn't really mess w/ it but who knows ne way he ran a 8.0 sec 1/8th mile pass on 22" slicks. i was there i saw it. he would run 8.1-8.3's all night
