If he's got a Type R he should have a real one on his shifter... Perhaps his doesn't "feel" real.

Well, my car was stripped, and I just got it back from the dealership after almost 6 weeks, and something about it just didn't feel right. I dunno. I requested all OEM equipment, and they said it was real. I compared it to some of my SoCal buddies' Type R's today, and I suppose it's real. I guess it just didn't feel the same, maybe 6 weeks without your car can do that to you. Thanks all, I appreciate your help.
Dunno if you are experiencing the same, but for some reason my shift **** looks different than my friends. My shift **** is a dull titanium color, whereas all my friend's shift ***** are shiny and metalic looking in their Rs.. I dunno which one is real!
So is there really no way to tell the real ones from the fakes? I bought one of the cheap 25$ fake ones about a year ago just for ***** and grins (I hated the thing, it was always to hot or to cold), and just from looking at real ones, I couldnt spot a difference.
Well SoCal... if turns out fake, I'll buy it off of you
BTW--thanks for hooking me up with the guy who hooked up me with the ambers!
-skafia, who was crusin up the mountains with you today in his CW R @ the meet

eh? someone wanna elaborate please?
The real one gets crazy hot during the summer, that's why I switched it for the spoon one. Back in winter, I use the stock one because I can handle the coldness.
