Default Something wrong with my gas tank.

So I was riding this morning and the bike started bogging down and cutting off. I figured I was low on gas so I put the reserve on, and it worked fine. But when I got the to gas station, it only filled about 1.5 gallons. That seems kind of odd, I thought a tank could hold way more than that. So what's wrong with my bike? I have a CBR600F3 by the way.

possible clogged or PINCHED petrol line, this can include a pinched or clogged breather line. Have you taken the tank off recently?

No I haven't done anything to the bike. I just bought it last week, I'll call the old owner to see what he's done.

How are you filling up the gas tank?

When I first started riding, I would jam the nozzle into the tank, and then start filling up. Of course, this would lessen the overall capacity. I learned later on that you could pull back on the rubber part and still fill up without the nozzle in the tank. HTH.
