Default spark plug wires compatability

i was looking at some magnecor wires for my 95 ex online and they list 92-00 civics under the same part number... does this sound right?? sohc civic wires are interchangeable with sohc acord wires?? can anyone confirm this??

They should be about the same length and all, and there really shouldn't be any difference in resistance between the two. I used some H22 Magnecor wires on my F23 before.

Pretty much wires are wires. You want to insulate the charge from shorting to ground before it gets to the plug, and have a resistance that is within spec for your ignition system. Wires that are too long add extra resistance, are prone to chafing and shorting, and look just plain crappy. OEM is more than adequate in in all but the most demanding applications, and they fit and look good.

In my opinion, stock wires are the easy choice. Many aftermarket wires just don't fit the same over the top of the valve cover.

Why do your stock wires suck? What is the problem with them? Not the right color?
Stock wires are ngk, I do believe. Very good.

don't see why they wouldn't work I know if you buy a msd distrutor cap it says it fits all hitachi distributors which includes civics, what I'm trying to say is the caps the same the only diference in the wires would maybe be the lenth between the connectors.

So get some new ones. You can buy whatever plug wires you want. I'm just saying the OEM plug wires are as good as any of the aftermarket wires, and you know they will fit right.
