Nopi Norwalk???
Who all plans on attending the Nopi Finals in Norwalk, OH this october? I know we've already got three rooms at the Econolodge at $55 a night per room. I dont think they knew the event was that weekend. So if you plan on going, might want to go ahead and get your room(s)
Ill bethere, we booked a bunch of rooms at the amerihost - when i check the best western ( we stayed there last year ) it was full... only king size beds left.
Cant wait, was a good time last year.

I will be there and so will some of the people that came to NY with me. Party at the hotel room again? I was going to post this later but might as well get the post going.

i planned to go all year long, i even watch the nopi finals video from imv films like once or twice a week but money has become tight recently so i had to cancel... dammit
Okay since best western is supposdly out of rooms. Lets come up with a hotel so everyone can stay in it. I was actually thinking about staying in my trailer b/c it should be cold enough. Party at the track. Lets see what we come up with.
hrmmm...looks like this might be the last race for NOPI at Norwalk, now that the NHRA owns the track.

I think you'll still see NOPI there, they do run at other NHRA sanctioned tracks (Atco, St. Louis, used to run at bristol and moroso). It all depends how much NHRA wants to throw there weight around (ala Virginia). I don't see that as the case here though.

NHRA is only the new sanctioning body not owners. Norwalk is still owned by the Bader's and will continue to host many of the same events as when it was an IHRA track. Main difference will be that a lot of the local racers that call Norwalk home will have to update saftey equipment and licensing. Norwalk will still be Norwalk and it will still remain as one of the the top 5 tracks in the country.

Amerihost is right there aswell...
I booked a room there..and it was a bit cheaper ( like less the $5 ) then the Best Western.
here is the link to amerihost...

I checked the bestwestern site again, its only showing rooms with 1 King sized bed... I know some of ya might be down for cuddling with your buddies and pit crew, but not me...

We have already talked with the Bader family and everything will be buisness as usual. Yes they are NHRA sanctioned now, but things with the NDRA will not change. For 2007, the NDRA World Finals will have alot more paving and new press boxes. The Baders are sinking like 10million or so into omprovements on the facility.
