Default auto tranny ?

i got a 96 accord ex with a auto tranny i wann go manual but theres some problems i wann kno if i can put a prelude auto tranny with teptronics ( or how ever u spell it) in my car and would the diff gear raito matter???

Spelling always helps as does punctuation haha. A prelude tranny will work fine in a 5th gen accord and would work fine with the f22b1 engine. I don't think I've ever seen a person do a tiptronic swap into their car, so I have doubts that would work without major mods. If you're just looking to speed the car up if you toss the prelude's tranny in there you should notice some quicker acceleration as it's gears are shorter
