I had a 1990 Ls (b18a1) swapped into my 1990 crx (a shop did it for me) and i cant hit red line! it goes to about 4200 rpms and cant go any farther? we have tried varrious things! we tried a new ECU, new map cencor, i have a 3in NO cat exhaust, and the dissy is brand new! what could it be..? i think it has to do with the fuel?

 

check base timing.

 

the timing is all good! its not retarded or advanced it good! it dont idle wierd or anything!

 

Check to make sure your timing belt is correct, also are you going by a aftermarket or stock tach?
