Help. P5P ECU missing emission functions
So I have this H22A engine from JDM Prelude Type-S with P5P ECU (OBD2) and wiring harness. Disturbing thing here is that there is no wires connected for secondary oxygen sensors or EVAP purge solenoid. So I'm thinking, the Prelude this engine was ripped from did not have any catalytic converter installed ?? Or did it? Interesting.
Next thing I wonder is that does this ECU support those functions anyway? ... I mean if I choose to connect secondary H2OS and EVAP purge solenoid to it... but anyways, I DO need to install a cat converter to my application (Accord -00) to make it pass emissions.
Actually my concern is if there are separate ECU software for cat applications and for non-cat applications and it fuxxs up the engine if there is TWC (three way cat converter) installed? It cannot be so, can it?

as far as i know most if not all japanese cars did not have the evap purge, and i have often heard of various ones not having a secondary o2 sensor as well sicne they are not designed to meet US market emissions standards.
