Default clutch slack

how do i remove the extra slack on the clutch pedal? im talking about the extra space you can push it without engaging the clutch. i want to minimize that space.

also is there a way to get the engagement earlier?

Default Re: clutch slack (type B16)

if it is a hydro then get under the dash and adjust the free play screw on the clutch pedal. there should be some slack in it. I don't remember what the manual calls for. but if you take to much out bad things start to happen. think of it like you where riding around town with the clutch pushed in a little bit that's if you take up to much play. A cable clutch might have the same type of adjustment I just don't know
