ok so i have been workin on this direct port nitrous install on my buddies accord. i got evertything but the wiring done. i have searched every where......i went to school for this and still can't figured it out. i have an automatice bottle opener and need to wire it up, but not to the button that was provided. i have and on/of switch. it is for a din panel. you know like those ricerish nitrous switch. the opener works like a sun roof, you hold the button down to open and then to close you hold the other side of button down to close. now the switch i have is only on or off. so i can get the automatic opener to open the bottle but not close it. since it would be in the up positin, it will constantly make the motor turn, so how do i keep from buring up the motor? i know i can do it with a relay, but i just can figured out how. also how would i get it to reverse the polarity of the motor to get it to close? any help would be helpful....

i don't know anything about nitrous setups, but maybe you need a switch with a middle position for off, or is your switch something that is commonly used with bottle openers? like i said, i know nothing of components involved in a nitrous setup, but i know a couple things about wiring. i'll try and help.

 

no it is just an on/off switch. you know like those wanna be carbon fiber nitrous ones. it is like that. and ya if i had a switch witha middle position it would be great, but he has already purchased the DIN panel and the buttons for it. it is a 4 button panel. has 3 on/off switchs, and then a nitrous purge button. i was thinking of trying to wiring both bottle openers to one switch to open them, and then the same thing to the other switch to close them, but i don't know how or if it'll work..

installed both nitrous solenoids and bent all the tubes for it





needed a bracket to hold the fuel solenoid in place so i could bent the tubes for it

not quite finished,

last weekend i ran the dual purge lines, nitrous bottles line, (yes i did say bottleS) now all i have to do is finish wiring everything up and fill the bottles.... more pictures soon to come
