was wondering how much lower is a integ type r than a 98 gsr. Has anyone ever swapped suspenions with a type r on a gsr. Hows the ride and where can i get it? FEEDback and comments please.

 

I have a type r suspension on my 00 gsr. The ride is great, very comfortable and handles good. It is only a little lower then the gsr. Just look at pics of stock type r's and that will show you the ride height. I would like my about an inch lower.

You need the struts, springs, and lca's from a type r.

 

Its about 1" lower.

 

gsr control arms dont work?

 

gsr and ITR rear arms are different, which also means the rear shocks are different.

 

i have a full itr spring/hat/shock/lower control arm conversion on my 00 LS sedan..its about a 1.25 inch drop. i like it a lot.

considering i've had different coilover shock combos over the years too
