Before tranny install: What should I replace on it?
I'm going to Autozone tomorrow to get some sockets, etc.
Before I install the Si tranny I just bought, what common failure points should I replace? Like what bearings, seals, etc. I'm not gonna spend a shitload of $$$ either, so don't say "synchro's", lol.
Thanx...

I wouldn't touch it unless it starts making noise. Throwout bearing would just be cheap and easy since it'll be right there....rather than have to do it all over again if it does go bad.

Penzoil synchromesh is the only thing I've ever put in my trannies. And I've decided just to get a throwout bearing and re-grease the axle seals. Taking the whole case apart and possibly ******* up a perfectly good tranny cause I don't know what i'm really doing seems stupid to me.
