Default B18C GSR with Type R cams

I have a B18C JDM GSR, I want to run type-r cams and run the type-r program.

Is this a good idea?
Is it better to run CTR or ITR cams?
And do I need anything else to do this?

i think i remember hearing that the ctr intake cam is more aggressive than the itr, but i have no idea about the exhaust cam. because the b16b has almost as much hp as the b18c5 with .2 less liters, i would assume that the ctr cams are better.

run the 01 itr cams or ctr cams (same thing), they're the better of the itr cams. and stay with your p72 ecu if everything is still stock (stock IM, etc). you'll definatley like the upgrade

yes you can run them, just stay at the stock 8200 redline. BTW ditch the stock IM, its a POS. I put in an AEBS last week and its the wake up call ive been waiting for. Bitch pulls pretty damn hard after VTEC, although there is a little low end midrange loss
