I have a 95 del sol vtec that i bought about a month ago. The car had a dc sports header, bored out throttle body, short ram intake and weld on muffler. after driving for a few days i noticed the car had a lack of low end power and idled a little low. i decided it was due to the bored throttle body being to big, and or not properly done. after looking further i noticed the idle screw was all the way in so i backed it out some. this brought back some low end power but caused the idle to be way to high. i replaced the throttle body with an obd 0 one, only to have the same problem. with the idle screw all the way in the car idles at about
1100-1200 rpm. i cleaned and swaped the iacv but nothing changed. when i cover the hole for the iacv in the throttle body the car idles down, like something is telling the iacv to open too much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

being that you removed the T/B, try re-adjusting your throttle cable, it's probably to tight.
