i just switched from auto to 5 speed and in the auto i was at like 3000 at 70 mph and now with the 5 speed im at probably around 4000 with a ls trans you might have a b16 trans or something but that 4700 is way to much man, look into that!

im not sure tats even a b16 tranny. I'm running a b16 tranny right now and i'm around 4200 @ 80mph. 4700rpm for me would probably be around 85-88. Possible tach is off?

i dont think the tach is off, cause at 70 mph, my motor sounds like it is seriously hurting, and i hate it, cause then i have to drive 60 to make me feel better, and then im THAT guy on the road.

the engine could be revving even high if the tach is off, its not always showing a higher rpm.
