Default Swapping a D series into an integra?!

Ok, this may sound strange, but my friend has an integra gs-r w/ no engine tranny shift linkage, ect... because he swaped it into his del sol. I am going to get the car for free and want to drop my old d15b "swap" into the shell to use as a daily driver temporaly while I am working on my GS-R. Has this ever been done (can it be done)? they are all obd2.

Yes it's been done, should be straightforward as long as you're using the correct ECU for the engine.

Yea, This sucker was slow in my del sol, so it will really be a slug in the heavier integra.

Hate to bring this up from 4 years ago, but I'm looking at doing this same swap in March. I have a complete 92 Civic Si with a jdm D15B and a complete 97 GS Integra. Does anyone know what EXACTLY I'll need from the civic to swap the D to the teg? I can't find a write up or much other info on this...

Why? Wouldn't I just get an obd2 to obd1 jumper harness for the P28 ecu I have now? The Z6 wiring harness I'm using right now will plug right into the shock tower plug, but since I want vtec, should I swap the shock harness from the Civic to the Teg? I'll be putting the B18 in the Civic so...

It's a better idea than this ^^^ post Most people do this as a TEMPORARY means of transportation while the car's real engine is worked on. I doubt anyone would do this as a permanent solution, unless someone just wanted the fuel economy but the looks and conveniences of the Integra.

I'm doing it as a permanent solution. It's only 10 less hp... That'll get made up for in the weight reduction.
