Swapping a D series into an integra?!
Ok, this may sound strange, but my friend has an integra gs-r w/ no engine tranny shift linkage, ect... because he swaped it into his del sol. I am going to get the car for free
and want to drop my old d15b "swap" into the shell to use as a daily driver temporaly while I am working on my GS-R. Has this ever been done (can it be done)? they are all obd2.

Hate to bring this up from 4 years ago, but I'm looking at doing this same swap in March. I have a complete 92 Civic Si with a jdm D15B and a complete 97 GS Integra. Does anyone know what EXACTLY I'll need from the civic to swap the D to the teg? I can't find a write up or much other info on this...
Why? Wouldn't I just get an obd2 to obd1 jumper harness for the P28 ecu I have now? The Z6 wiring harness I'm using right now will plug right into the shock tower plug, but since I want vtec, should I swap the shock harness from the Civic to the Teg? I'll be putting the B18 in the Civic so...

Most people do this as a TEMPORARY means of transportation while the car's real engine is worked on. I doubt anyone would do this as a permanent solution, unless someone just wanted the fuel economy but the looks and conveniences of the Integra.
