the set up right now's 98 Spec jdm itr B18C running with obd2 to obd1 conversion harness with SOHC Vtec auto and Chipped Kenji P28. my car's 2001 model and need to pass diagnostic test during emission. Is there any way i can use a stock GSR's ecu??

p.s i bought the car came with this set up...

 

what do you mean it came with the "sohc vtec auto"? I don't think the stock gsr ecu will work since your car is an 01 meaning the 00-01 integra ecu's have an immobilizer built in.

i dunno..previouse owner used SOHC Vtec automatic Ecu from a civic or something..i even tried to swapped out with another 01 GSR but the car would not start..

sohc vtec automatci ecu's can be converted to 5 speed and chipped to dohc vtec specs. If you werent throwing any codes with this p28, then I'm pretty sure your auto p28 was converted to 5 speed and chipped to dohc vtec specs.

the 01 gsr ecu wouldnt start your car because it has a built in immobilizer.

 

what ecu do i need to get it to start or get around immobilizer? i want to used OBD2 again so i can pass this diagnostic test during emission test..
