ran out of gas broken fuel pump
hi all i need help bad i was working on my car took out the gauge so i didnt noe i was low on gas and one day the car wont start i think i ran out of gas and the shop told me it could be the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay... where is the fuel pump relay located? and when i find it is there a way for me to tell if its broken? my car is a 96 integra gs-r... how do i know if its the pump or the relay?
CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE GAS BY POURING A COUPLE OF GALLONS INTO IT.
IF YOU DO THE RELAY IS ON THE DIVER SIDE KICK PANEL UP NEAR THE DASH BOARD RECTANGULAR BOLTED WITH A 10MM BOLT. SHOULD BE GRAY RELAY

wait, you mean to tell me, you can remove the whole cluster, and seperate the fuel gauge (which is impossible with out cutting it out) and you dont know how to tell if a fuse is good or not?
However, givin the benefit of the doubt, that you arent a total idoit, turn the key on, and you can hear the fuel pump energise, and try to pump. If you hear that, put some damn gas in the car!
