Default first no bar motorcycle in the 6's

History was made this past weekend at the MIROCK race at rockingham dragway in north carolina. Rodney W and his PRO 1 turbo hayabusa using AMS-1000 boost control is the first no bar motorcycle to ever run in the 6's and a string of 7.0's with 135 degree track temps. Rodney was # 1 qualifier, set the new national et record and won the event with track temps reaching past 135 degrees. You guys like fast stuff so I figured youd get a kick out of 500 hp on a 7 inch contact patch.

Sebastian, congrats on that. Hey, can't view the video on a Mac. Anyone else have that problem? I would love to see it.

Man, could you imagine being on a bike that took off like that!

Handle bars would be for holding on for dear life instead of steering!

no you dont and no he doesnt!
I crew chief the 2 bike team and its hard for me to get Jason to test because he is always working. Then when hes not working he cant use the track because he needs ambulance and another person there or his Royce aint hip to the idea. Its a common assumption in our series that he is fast because he has so much seat time....big misconception! Yeah it would be nice to have access to a track if you could test whenever you wanted. Jasom doesnt get to test as often as he should.

Wow I stand corrected, I thought it would be cool to have a Dad who owned a track and I could test whenever, didnt think abotu the Ambulance and such. Just like when you rent the track out I see. oops

BTW everything I posted is positive, nothing meant to sound negative at all. I am envious, I was kinda jealous of Jason Hunt cuz he was soo close to Crapitol Raceway and had a lot of seat time back in the day on the CRX
