Do aftermarket lowering springs neeed a spring compressor to take out?

to remove the spring? If so it would depend on the spring and how much it is compress by the shock assembly..If it move freely then yes and be safe!

nah you dont need too, well try to push it down see if is soft enough to take it out without using the compressor, but im pretty sure you can take it out without using a compressor, i just took out my sprint springs over the weekend without using a compressor
