start up problem

Default start up problem

heres my problem, when i start my car and its already warm i have to hold the gas for a couple of seconds. if i dont the car will start then just die out (almost like it had no gas) and and just crank for about a mintue or 2. maybe one of the senors on the intake manifold?

if you have no codes, i would try carb cleaner first, its cheap and cant hurt.

is the car swapped? give a bit more info.

The only code I have is 1 (o2 sensor) and a SOHC zc in a 89 si

Carb cleaner in the intake/air filter or do I spray down the whole intake manifold with the TB.

Figured out the problem, main rely was going bad. One of the solder points was cracking then it just went bad. Got a new main rely and is fine now

hey at least it didnt take you like two weeks to figure that out. those damn main relays are a pain in the ***
