The door trims 'I think thats what the plastic bits are called' and bumper trims along with the front and rear lips are black,

So should I paint the wing mirrors black or paint them the same colour as the rest of the crx?

The plastic bits on the middle of the door, and on the front/rear guard if thats what you mean,

imho the car's lines look 100% better with the black moldings and mirrors.

that being said, my last crx was painted 99 si electron blue, the whole thing mirrors and all, and it also looked really good.

look at the top of the forum fo rthe picture thread, and go thorugh it.

youll see some very nice looking cars done both ways, its up to you.

but i would do it right, remove all the moldings, and tape off the bumper ones. shoot the car the color you want, then repaint the moldings black.

Yes thats it 'moulding', I forgot what they are called,

Yeah I did that and I just fully primered everything,

I forgot to mention that the spoiler is black too, I am not sure what to do, if the mirrors are black it might be overkill with the black since it will have black lips-mouldings-spoiler-stock mudflaps, oh well I will take your advice and have a look at some pics, thanks.

mine is painted the same as the red one, except i colour matched my mirrors...

and yes, i know it needs to be lowered..

Nice, its similar to the colour I am painting my crx,
hmmmm now I am confused, painted or unpainted ... they both look good

 

I think the painted mirrors looks good, I just like the unpainted better.

Mine's Electron Blue Pearl, off of the Prelude, 99-00 Si, CRV's etc etc.

I really like the Sonic Blue thats on the DC2's.

Both look great. For the body colored mirrors, the body color accents the mirrors. For the unpainted, the cabin/glass/black trim accents the mirrors.

As for me, I opted for painted although I may switch it up soon... .

Before a wild cat of some sort decimated my front end at 75 mph:

 

It looks clean all one color with black lips around the car i think

 

Yeah I dont know what I am doing yet, black wings mirrors or same colour as car.... who knows....

No point starting a thread for this but what does everyone think about EF's with the factory mudflaps on? I just got a brand new set, ftw?
