Why don't it work?
I have a 91 CRX HF with a 91 ZC engine and an 88 acura integra ecu. Whenever i run the engine the ecu flashes a code 9 and it has a very rough idle.
I replaced the cam angle sensor with a new part for an 89 integra.
The wiring seems to be just fine.... When I check the pins at the harness that go to the cam angle sensor; they measure around 800 ohms of resistance just like the manual says that they should.
Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing my code 9?

if it flashes a code 9 cylinder postion sensor,it should not run but if it does it will not be running long.that sensor tells the ecu what the cylinder postion is so the ecu knows when to squirt in the fuel at the right time.
its in the distrib
i would suggest replacing it!
or check the wiring.

Actually, on the ZC engine, the cam angle sensor is on the exhaust cam in its own seperate housing...
I already replaced the cam angle sensor with a new one for an 89 integra, so it should be working fine. The wiring also seems to be working properly.
Do you have any other ideas?
