So I have the Apexi axleback mated with custom 2.25" b pipe that has a long 20"+ resonator on it. It sounds really quiet, a little too quiet.

So, I was wondering if I was to remove that 20"+ resonator, how would the whole catback sound?

Have anyone ever removed the resonator off there catback? Thanks.

 

It will sound like a fart can. My friend did this to his GREDDY exhaust, in high rpm it sound nice but let go of the gas pedal in high rpm it sound like ****, pop more the a mother F.

 

Damn, even if I was to do this with the Apexi WS? Because I thought it'll be better with it because of the fact that the WS' muffler is chambered?

I don't think it'll get too crazy loud with that muffler but you will def be stepping up on the buzziness level.

 

No resonator on my WS and it's still pretty quiet. Downshifting is the only time I ever hear my exhaust over my motor.
