I have a 94 VX hatch that I am building for a strip/autox car. The stock gas tank and pump was well "misplaced" by the last owner. I cant find a stock tank around here, so I was thinking I would just put in a fuel cell.

What are the rules about mounting a cell. I have seen a couple mounted almost exactly the same but one would pass inspection at the track and the other wouldnt. Does the cell have to be seperated from the driver by a wall, what are the mounting procdures.

i would imagine it's in ur rulebook for whatever class you are racing.

 

I looked it up on the website and unless I overlooked it I didnt see it in there.

Seriously, do you think we can read your mind. First we dont even know the sanctioning body your running in. Nor do we even know what vechile, Class etc. You may want to check the Road Racing/Autocross section.. its just down the corridor on the left. Or Drag racing, its the Door on the right.
