On my ls engine they say the rev limiter kicks in around 7200 but on my tach the rev limiter kicks in at around 6500 or so. Is my tach bad? Should I get a new or an aftermarket one? I'm just hoping its my tach and not the engine. Thanks!

 

Have your gauge faces been changed? If so, the needles were most likely reinstalled incorrectly.

No my guages havent been changed.. I believe the engine is a 95 ls

You believe? Has the engine been swapped?

 

yea the engine is in a civic.. and yes its a 95
