Default can someone help me w/this question...im confused! ASAP

i've been reading many blogs between the difference of the SH and the Base model prelude. i dont know what mine is. i dont know if i have an SH or a Base model prelude. i have a 98 honda prelude, but i dunno if its an SH or a Base.

i read on a blog that if you have a thirds brake light than its not an SH. and if you dont, then its an SH.

any help please?

Turn you car's ignition on but not start the car.. you ATTS light will flash then go away. No ATTS light, no SH.

It should unless the sticker has been removed.

4th gen didnt come in that flavor, only 5th gen, too bad so sad. So if you have a 4th gen its either , Base, S, Si i think..

Unless he has a Type-SH and the light bulb is burned-out on the dash... I love complicating ****

Or if someone disconected-removed the bulb. If it is Auto then you know it is base also. Climb under the car If there is a box in the area of where the intermediatte shaft would go into the tranny it is an SH

Look at the Vin# in the upper driver corner if is says bb615 it is Type SH if is say bb614 in the vin it is base model. ex. for VIN # JHMbb615 then some other letter/numbers
You can also look at the oil filter if it is located on the driver side and angled (look under the intake manifold) it is sh and if it is lower and straight out it is a base model.
