Default Dizzy Installation on a LSVTEC(Stroked out) 12.1 comp

I wanna Install a new dizzy on my LSVTEC, what timing should I set the dizzy to???

I am running an eagle stroker kit w/ JE pistons (12.1) compression.

The dizzy is currently set at the retarded position, it seems likes it almost set all the way towards the front of the bumper.

for the compression of 12:1 the timing should be a little retarded to run on pump gas

have you had the car tuned yet?

No, i haven't gotten it tuned yet. I run 93 ocatane right now.

I have a P73 on there right now, it is not chipped. I also have a Apexi VAFC. Would the VAFC be enough to tune it??? Or do I really need to get this P73 chipped???

I plan on taking it soon , so that my garage can tune it and dyno it for me.

Keep it retarded, and when you do the tuning, adjust it Then.

Thanks for the suggestion, I don't plan on touching it right now, I am going to go get it tuned, then once my mechanics sets it where it should go, I am going to put in the new distributor.
