Default Thanks to Joe Simpson and Fred Ellis at Tempest Racing and Brad Brooks!!!!! Got my car done and ran

I would like to give a HUGE THANKS to Joe Simpson for helping me get my car done for MIR NOPI this past week. He let me utilize his shop to finish some things on my car and he welded up my intercooler piping and did some other welding for me. His employee Fred Ellis is the most awesome guy in the world too, he helped soo much during the week I was there from finding me nuts and bolts I was missing to getting me candy bars since I am diabetic and my blood sugars got soooo low I was about to literally black out! He turned some wrenches and was a tremendous help. Joe and Fred are the most awesome guys in the industry. I consider them to be good friends

Also I would like to thank Brad Brooks for getting my car tuned though we chased our tails for a good 2 hours and wasted time But he pulled 500whp out of it with a conservative tune and only maybe 5 dyno pulls, we made 9 total I think but the first 4 had no VTEC since the VTEC Solenoid was clogged. He stayed very very very late on Friday night to tune my car and I am very appreciative.

Also all the guys who showed up for the Open House NOPI Party at Tempest and actually lent a hand too. Thanks Mikey aka boostedcivicsir and his buddy Chuck, thanks Drunkturbocivic Dave, thanks to Darren and Bobby Barone for always lending a hand and tools too. Thanks to Daniel and Deryck aka deryck324 from MD, they are always GREAT and willing to lend a hand and turn a wrecnch! Chris Rado for always entertaining lol , this cat has got to be the coolest guy in the world really

I ran the car at MIR NOPI, on Saturday it sucked since it only went 13.5@106mph like 3 times, then 13.4@105mph and a 13.0@105mph lololololololololol, it would not pull cleanly past 7-8000rpm and the rev limiter was set for 9100rpm with my shift light at 8800rpm and A/F was 10.12 maxed the wideband out, I never saw the shift light once on Saturday On Sunday morning me and Drunkturbocivic decided that maybe VTEC wasn't kicking in again so we checked the VTEC solenoid again and it was clogged again. We cleaned it and changed the oil and voila car went 11.7@119mph with me missing 4th gear REALLY BADLY!! lol next pass went 11.30@128mph , me banging off 1st gear limiter for about 1.8 seconds , this apparently isn't my old B16A with a T67 turbo on it So it was a great weekend and sorry for anyone I forgot. Tell me and I will edit this post I had fun. Thanks to my wife for coming out and supporting me, I know the heat and boredom was killing you

Edit:Well BIG THANKS TO the MD DIPPIN HICK BRET READ for helping all night with my sunroof plug and anything I needed too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be there BUT most likely not racing. I would need to get a 4" exhaust made and get a catchpan and battery cut off switch just to run, money is tight and E Town is far for me when considering how much gas would cost me too

Man I am an idiot, I need to thank the people who helped me build my car , THE BIGGEST Thanks goes to Chris Tucker, no not the black comedian but the goofy white guy , he helped assemble my motor, helped drop it in, helped with the roll cage. He is a quick worker, he works at a shop during the day, gets off at 6 PM , calls me "Hey meet me at my house!" Get there and my whole interior is sitting in his yard, he works fast! Then I gotta thank Forrest Ables who actually did the cage in my car, did a great job and really inexpensive. I wish he was still inthe VA Beach area but he got a great oppurtunity to work for Hendrick Chevrolet down in Atlanta GA, good luck to you man.

Chris Tucker does motorswaps, turbo kits , custom work etc etc any car .
