is it illegal to tint tailights black
i have a 91 palmy blue 4dr DA with carbon fiber hood trunk next in the carbon. Just wanted 2 know if it is illegal to tint the tails black? i think it would look siick.

its probally one of those things where youd only get a ticket for it if your gettin pulled over for speeding. Its like tinting the front windows where i live, cops don't care about just the tint, but if there pulling you over then there gonna give you a ticket for that and make you remove it.

yep its a fix-it ticket. If you can't see the red you will get pulled over. You have a better chance smoking them and getting away. But if you black them out its a ticket
Blame the D.O.T. they made the rules. Any lights in the back of the car has to be red brake and running lights. Turns amber or red. Anything in the front has to be amber only. no clear-blue green or any other color

I don't have a STi at the moment. One of these days i will. im 17. Im gettin a Civic not to sure what one or anything. All i know is that i want a solid amount of power.
thats cool my buddy has an sti and all i can say is whoaaa!!! 300 ponies adjustable gear ratios what more can u ask 4 subarus are nice but hondas are a cheaper thrill he also has a civic i think he wants to sell with either the b16 or d series but its nice. options options options.
smoking them out is a better decision that totally blacking them out
