How Much Boost ??????
ok i just built a b18a1 with
Stock LS crank
Stock Main bearings
ACL rod Bearings
Stock LS Pistons
Eagle ESP rods
stock rings
Stock valve train
What i need to know is how much bosst can i run on this setup as i am building a turbo kit for it ??
And also What size turbo should i use to get it spolling around 3000 RPM??

"BUILT" Meaning i Just assembled the Dam Thing
So stock LS piston would only hold 8 Lbs. ???
i do plan on doing all the proper tuning via wideband and datalogging
i though they would hold more.......
Just don't know much about the strength of the Stock Oem Honda pistons

all you really need to do is get better sleeves, the stock sleeves arent really made more that kind of power and if your sleeves go remember honda engines have aluminum blocks thats what they make pop cans out of keep in mind

correct me if im wrong but its mostly rods that snap with those motors, and with very precise tuning+good intake temps+good gas he should be able to push a little more?

lol beat me to it

dudes have ran well over 15 psi into stock LS engine, and with proper tuning those engines love it. the bottom end is strong enough for well over 400 hp, with NO detonation.
the majority of turbo hondas that blow up are because of poor tuning.
the record on a stock bottom end b16 is 630 whp. i think it was 34 psi or something. tuning tuning tuning.
basemaps arent tuning.

400hp on stock LS? I don't think for very long, I say 300 is safe on a stock bottom end and i wouldn't worry about the sleeves yet either, most "built" LS are just forgded rods and piston combos and make a massive power...rods and ringlands are the usual weak parts of the honda motor, post the block and you will add some strenght to those sleeves but I think your power and psi is going to be based on your tune, hell I am running 9psi on a stock LS currently and plan to tune the boost up a lot, I'm trying to get a close to 300hp as i can
