Whats wrong with my gsr..
Whats up guys,Im new here to HT.....Last night i just picked up a 94 gsr with 72,300 original miles,but it has an LS tranny....I used to have a Stock ls Eg hatch...For some reason my integra feels ALOT slower then what my hatch used to,I mean the motor sounds solid,clicks into vtec at 5k everytime,has good oil and all,but it just doesnt pull that strong...What could be wrong,Im stumped

A GS-R engine w/ LS tranny can't use the powerband as effectively as with the correct GS-R tranny. The LS in your Civic probably had more torque down low, and also had the correct LS tranny to effectively use a powerband like that. Put on the correct transmission and I'm sure you'll see a marked improvement.

Not only are you using the wrong trans. but the integra weighs more than your hatch. Swap the trans like everyone is reccomending and you will notice the improvment.

I'd use to have the same setup... GSR Longblock with a LS tranny. It sucked man...I used the LS tranny because it was a spare that was lyin around in my garage...Now i've a B16 tranny on my GSR Block and it was happily ever after from then on...

...get which ever is cheaper/affordable for you, you will not be disappointed at all, but you will be if you stick with that ls tranny.

Thanks for the replies....I know LS trannies are garbage im not new to hondas,Just HT.....I still think it should pull harder then what it does,When i get on it in 1st i cant even make it chrip tires or nothing feels slow as ****,But off 2nd and 3rd it pulls nice.....Wierd,thought a gsr would be a lil quicker then what it is,Guess i was wrong
