Default Question about the spring lengths for Ground Control coilovers...

I have heard of people getting matching spring lengths so they can swap springs 'better'.. in case later down the road they want stiffer and want to move the backs to the front and get another set for the rear so they only have to get 2 new springs. I have heard of people getting 7" and 8"...

Anybody have any thoughts on this and what would be the better spring length? Is there any downside to this?
