98 Honda civic Front right accident, Wheel pulling to the left, Help fixing suspension.
I have a 98 Honda civic and it is slammed. I dont know the name of the suspension that is on my car because I got it from a auction as is. The car pulls to the left and the tires are wearing out. I need help with possible answeres. I tried to get an alignment but they told me it wont even go on the machine. There is a two finger gap on one side and the other side is a one finger gap. So clearly something is bent but the dealership doesnt seem to know what the problem is.
You are definitely going to have to get an alignment to figure out what the problem is. I suggest you take it to Sears. Those guys are cool, they don't charge extra for lowered cars & they don't make excuses either. The trick is to bring some tools & wood blocks with you so you can pull the bumper off the car before the tech pulls it into the bay. Then set the wood blocks in front of the ramp to add a little bit extra ramp area...
I got my Civic in there (with a zero finger gap on 205/40/16) & they didn't even have to take the bumper off. Plus, Sears laser alignment only costs $60 too...
