Default swap finally done!!!!

well about about a week and a half later me and my friend are done with my car. the b17 is very nice(and quick)the only prob after we started driving was we noticed a hesitation which we think should be fixed by new spark plugs and plug wires.my exterior of my car also had a makeover with me taking off my ww bodykit and putting on the fatcory si front amd rear bumpers, all we are trying to do now is find a way to get the black side molding to stay on the car, we have used adhesive caulk, double sided 3m tape, and hot glue and none worked????

another question i had was when you do a swap into a car like mine does it throw off your speedomoter(dont know how to spell that) and your tach? thanks guys fro all your help.

Did you plug your VSS back in on the tranny, or on the b17a is the VSS sending unit electronic, if it is an electronic you will hacve to swap it out with a mechanical one. I threw a b16a in mine and the tach and all that works perfect, i think.

too much info in your signature. if you say it's a 90, then no reason to include "ed".

I believe the B17 was only offered in the 92 and 93 integra GSR. It had 160 hp and im not sure about the torque.

The B17A has 160hp amd 117 lb/ft of torque, 6 more pounds than a B16A. I have heard from other forums that it is the worst VTEC motor Honda ever produced. I think they said that only cuz the B17A has the lowest compression out of all the VTEC engines at 9.7:1. But swap in a set of CTR pistons and everything would be oh so sweet!
