Default My JDM ITR steering wheel is loose.. how do i tighten it..

i got a 95 RS /w a JDM ITR non SRS steering Wheel. and its not tight.. like if i were to use a little force on it to rock it up or down it moves, feel slike its not tight on the column or whatever. so i tried removing those 6-8 alan head screws and the middle thing but no luck theres another piece blockin it. how do i tighten my steering wheel down?

i believe if you try to remove the main piece in the middle you should have access to the 19mm bolt that loosens and tightens the steering wheel

are there any torx bolts on the side of the middle piece? (the entire piece)

i remove dthe middle piece. then removed the little button for the horn. then i just see a black surface that i cant move out of the way and there are no screws / bolts to unloosen.

i'm guessing the piece in the middle is screwed in the same place the airbag would be. pop off 2 little covers on the sides of the steering wheel and you should see a couple screws on each side holding the middle piece in. once you get that taken out you'll see the big 19 mm nut holding the steering wheel on.

just remove the whole T section of the steering wheel n u will have alot of acces to the 19mm bolt that keeps the sterring wheel in place. the T section of steering wheel staps rite back in place very easily

Good luck with everything, but that view is nice considering she was once an RS. Nice interior ideas so far man.

dont need to remove the steering column plastics

once the T section comes off, the nut should be visible

Just rip the middle part off, It is velcored on the seams. THen you have access to the bolts. Make sure not rip off the horn wires. Don't literally rip it off, just take your times and feel around for hte seams and pull it apart from there.
