cyp code 9 ?
i have a 1991 crx dx with auto to manual swap with b18 vtec and it has a obd1 conversion with hondata s200b with p28 ecu my problem is that with this cyp code my car feels like it is running on one cylinder as soon as i try and start it has a solid light and i have to hold the gas to the floor to get it to run when we were wiring it up for mpfi conversion is it possible if the cyp wires were switched that it fried the distributor any help would be greatly appreciated

it would not "fry the distributor" if the wires were switched but most imported engines or engines that have been sitting for a while have corrosion inside on the igniter unit.
This can cause every distributor code to be thrown.
I'm not saying all at once, just random poor signal on CKP, CYP, & Igniter
Sometimes scrape'ing the igniter unit connections helps, most times you just have to replace the distributor.
It's entirely possible you connected the wires backwards. That would be my first check before trying another dizzy.
If your computer were bad, you would probably have more problems than just CYP
