Default battery cables in or under from trunk?

I'm building a car that needs to pass nhra and ndra ive relocated the battery in the trunk and ive mounted the kill switch but couldnt find anything in the rules about battery cable routing.

Right now ive got some of the thru panel connectors made by longacre, and i was going to put those through the firewall or is there a rule that they need to exit the car in the back and go under the car up to the front?

Post up what youve done that passes tech or what you might have heard, i would appreciate it.
