need help on front end vibration after 160km/hr
hello all, i just brough a 97 ctr about a month ago, and i finally had a chance today to take her all the way to 185km/hr. one thing i realize that the two front wheel seem slightly shaking / vibrating @ 160km and up. i just had my tire balance about 1 weeks ago. Anything you guys would suggest me to look into. ( alignment or control arm...or something) thx
Swap the rear wheels onto the front and see if it makes any difference. If it doesnt see if you can find somewhere that will balance the wheels while theyre on the car.

If you read his post you'd see that he had them balanced a week ago and the problem still occurs! Swap the fronts to the rear and vice versa!

If you have nice wheels and tires and they aren't crooked, then get them to rebalance them cause they either did a shitty job or their machine is unbalanced. I have balanced wheels for 3 years and when someone tells me that he just had his wheels balanced and it shakes, I don't think to myself "well gee, obviously that ain't it!" No, I automatically think their balancing machine settings could have been off when the guy did the job or the guy that did the job sucked... If it still shakes, the wheels might have been unbalanced for so long that the tire is now oval and there's nothing you can do about it except put it in the back and dream of your next set of tires...

you need a place that has a high speed balancer. Most places you go are "good enough" balancers meant for the fastest at highway speeds. Doesn't mean they won't be balanced good enough for 100+, but desn't mean it will either.

After you look into the above member suggestions you may want to:
check front end suspension components
check rotors
check for bent rims
use of hubcentric rings
